Söhne Mannheims (Sons of Mannheim) is a German musical band founded 1995 in Mannheim by Xavier Naidoo and Claus Eisenmann. Their big hit “Und Wenn Ein Lied” stood at number 2 on the German single-chart for the whole winter of 2005.

Xavier Naidoo (born October 2, 1971 in Mannheim), also known by his stage name Kobra, is a German Soul and R&B singer/songwriter, record producer, and occasional actor. Naidoo’s music features a utopian, pan-theistic ideology through which he expresses his own political anxieties and stances.
